We have acquired Dondy, the #1-ranked WhatsApp app on the Shopify App Store, trusted by over 70,000 businesses globally. Dondy becomes part of Shop Circle, the group’s agentic commerce software division.

Dondy is an all-in-one conversational commerce platform built for commerce. Businesses use Dondy to run marketing campaigns and automations, and to drive sales and support with AI Agents across WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and website chat, meeting customers wherever they are.

The platform already facilitates over $100M of orders per year and powers more than 1M conversations with end customers.

From conversations to execution

At Circeus, we believe AI is moving software from tools that support work to systems that execute it. Dondy is evolving into an AI-native execution layer for commerce.

Today, merchants use Dondy to respond to customers, run campaigns, and manage workflows. For merchants using Dondy’s AI Agents, 70% of conversations are already handled and resolved end-to-end by AI.

Tomorrow, Dondy handles customer interactions end-to-end across every channel, including email, TikTok, Telegram, and any new channel that emerges.

Building on the automations and AI agents already live today, Dondy’s agentic workflows will increasingly create and send marketing campaigns, run follow-ups, proactively initiate customer conversations and perform service actions directly within merchants’ stores. They will recover abandoned carts, re-engage customers, deliver upsells, and resolve exchanges and order changes, all within the conversation.

• Evolve Dondy’s proven AI Agents into fully autonomous AI agents, and evolve Dondy into an AI-native commerce platform for businesses, expanding beyond WhatsApp automation to support the full customer journey.
• Rebuild customer support in commerce as AI-first and replace the legacy helpdesk solutions merchants rely on today.
• Expand the AI from sales and support agent into a full campaigner that creates and sends automated marketing campaigns, runs follow-ups, and proactively initiates conversations.
• Move up-market, leveraging the group’s strength to serve enterprise customers.
• Accelerate growth in new markets, including Latin America.
• Operate as a stronger force together with Shop Circle’s portfolio of apps, with native integrations, and unlock cross-sell opportunities from Dondy to the group’s apps and from them to Dondy.
